Rules for Marketing SMS

Alphanumeric Sender ID needs to be registered in all UAE networks, without any fee, with setup time in 8 working days.

Maintenance of Customer consent / s which proves that the aforementioned recipient number has opted in to receive any promotional / marketing SMSs from the Sender ID / Short Code.

All customer records must be stored for 2 years.

Marketing / promotional SMS terminated within the UAE must include the necessary information on how to block SMS using 7726 short code that is protecting all customers from unwanted SMS.

Kindly note that any messages sent without the "blocking option" will be blocked within 10 working days. Format for blocking is 'To stop, send "b senderID" to 7726'

Records of unsubscribe notifications and opt-out requests should also be stored for a period of 2 years.
